Blue Water Garage Door Services is seeking an ambitious experienced Garage Door Service/Installation Technician to join our growing organization. The Garage Door Service/Installation Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customers’ garage doors and will sell, quote, and take payment on our products and services. The right candidate will be mechanically and technically inclined, have an astute business acumen, and possess the interpersonal skills to thrive in this sales/customer service focused position. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional interested in joining our hands-on industry where no two days are the same. Company vehicle and tools provided for work purposes.
Requirements for the Service and Installation Technician:
- Mechanical aptitude, including skill in using a variety of hand and power tools, accurately reading a tape measure, and interpreting equipment manuals
- Physically able to move items weighing 80-100 lbs. and the ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background check and drug screen a condition of employment
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills
- Have a professional appearance and an astute business acumen
- 2 years prior professional experience working in the garage door industry is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
